Özge Sebzeci is a photographer and reporter based in Istanbul, Turkey. 

She studied International Relations at Galatasaray University where she decided to approach major stories from a human rights perspective. She aims to explore underreported stories with a focus on gender and migration issues with an intimate approach. 

She is also interested in the digital transformation in journalism and innovative ways of visual storytelling and is currently writing a master’s thesis on this topic.

Her work has been published in National Geographic, The New Yorker, The Huffington Post, News Deeply, Norwegian VG, Dutch NRC Handelsblad newspapers, Ms Magazine among others.
